Congrats to Joe Anderson, our August Third Brewsday BOTM winner! 🍻

He took the top spot with "Fleur d'Anis," a Bière de Garde (Ambrée). It's a really cool, rustic French farmhouse style known for its rich amber color and smooth malt profile.

Despite a last-minute venue change, we had a great turnout at February Third Brewsday. Huge thanks to everyone who rolled with the change and still made it out! It was especially great to see a few faces we haven’t seen in a while.

The monthly poll results are in, and Joe took the win with his Chocolate Stout

Congratulations Trevor for winning January 2026 Third Brewsday BOTM. Trevor took his first swing at a German Alt beer and nailed it!

Lee was a great host (as always) and opened up his tap wall at A Homestead Brew! Larry taking home the win this month with his Snickern’ Blonde - Snickerdoodle Coffee Blonde Ale.

Todd took home the bragging rights this month with his barrel agend Barleywine. This one came in a nice and crushable 11.2% ABV!

Welp, I failed on getting the details on this one! This event is help by Hartford's Downtown Inc committee. A bunch of great beers but Bud took home the popular vote. 

Since I also missed getting a picture that night please enjoy a mugshot of our fearless leader 😆

Pat Shay claimed October's (home) Brewer Of The Month with his Jalapeño Pilsner. He snuck out before I could get him the pound of Columbous hops donated by Russ Olson/Steins and Vines, but tracked him down slinging pints at Buffalo Ridge. Congrats Pat! You're becoming a frequent contender.

In case you didn’t know, Bob Ross (a.k.a Matt Hansen) won the 2024 Witches and Warlocks Wine Walk with beer tasting event!

His Strawberry Milkshake IPA was so smooth it painted happy clouds in our head!

Thank you to Downtown Hartford Inc for hosting. This event is an annual fundraiser to help with improvements to the downtown Hartford SD area. 

We definitely had plenty of great beers this month, resulting in a 3-way tie.

Ken and Shawn & Roger each got a pound of Columbus hops donated by Steins and Vines. *Pat said he's ok because he already won March with the same beer. We'll still drink it every time Pat!*

Brews-day moved to Saturday at Steve's place. No vote taken, but Steve's insane setup with a full commercial grade cooler may deserve a win here.
